Recipe: Oysters Rockefeller

Ladies and gents, get ready for a taste sensation that'll make your taste buds dance! It's time to whip up some Oysters Rockefeller, a dish fit for the richest of tycoons.


  • 2 dozen fresh oysters, shucked
  • 1 cup of chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • In a pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

  • Add in 1/4 cup of chopped green onions and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.

  • Add in 1 cup of chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool.

  • In a food processor, combine the cooked spinach mixture, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp of lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Blend until smooth.

  • Spoon a small amount of the spinach mixture onto each shucked oyster and place them on a baking sheet.

  • Bake the oysters in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.

  • Serve the oysters hot, with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs on top.
